ABOUT

The West Adams Conservation District is a local organization operating under State Law acting in an advisory and educational capacity to serve the conservation needs of the landowners. Assistance is also provided to governmental agencies to enable them to manage their respective lands. The purpose of these activities is to maintain and/or improve the natural resources of future generations.

The conservation districts were created by the US Congress in 1937 in response to the horrendous effects of the Dust Bowl. West Adams CD does its best to provide the landowners in our district with the tools they need to be better land stewards of the future.
